Bridge Program: Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be
This is a post high school / gap year program that includes the humanities, philosophy, ethics, history, and entrepreneurship:
- This program focuses on developing Character, Critical-Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity (Independent Thinking)
- Leadership and Strategic thinking
- Preparing student-athletes (our future leaders) for university and life
- Empowering students to use their creativity to solve problems
- Socratic methodology – we do not have traditional teachers -- we have “coaches” to guide students along – but we allow them to solve problems
- Each student-athlete is required to “serve”… have a part-time job, internship, or their own business
Five Guiding Principles of This Program
- Tell the truth and your life will be better (and so will our community and maybe even the world)
- Take responsibility (for yourself and the community)
- Know that we’re all in this together (always protect your team)
- Develop courage, communication skills, and open mindedness: Practice having conversations with people that have different opinions and beliefs than you – It’s possible they know something you don’t know, and it could transform your life

Syllabus: Two-Week Modules
This program combines virtual and in-person classes.
Below is the base program which will be personalized for each student based on their unique goals and requirements.

- Guided discussions – Socratic methodology (both in-person and online)
Each student takes Mindset X course plus Math if they plan on attending a university (whichever Math level they are at Algebra, Calculus, etc.)

Solving Real World Problems by Building a Real World Business -Start Your Own Company
This project will be ongoing throughout the year
- Objective is to build a profitable business
- Group of 3 Students (some will have 2. 3 or 4 people)
- Make a product/service/solve a problem you cannot stand in the world or your community/Become the best in your world (meaning, make a product or service that’s the best in your area)
- Develop a business road map
- Recruit employees, experts, use AI, do whatever it takes to succeed (this isn’t a test in school – it’s your job to figure it out, get the help you need, and make it work)
- Build your website or online store
- Put it in the marketplace Amazon, Farmers Market, go to where your clients are, etc.
- Market your product/service
- Raise Money (if need be)
- Present your business’s P&L (end of year)
